•Viewing of facilities is by appointment only. Please contact us so we may schedule your visit. •All cooking shall be by supervised by The Strickland Farm Staff or performed by a Professional Cook. •No pets allowed. •All children shall be supervised at all times. •No swimming allowed. •No one allowed at Sheep Barn and Pastures unless escorted by Strickland Farm Staff. •No one allowed at upper level of Pool Barn. •The Strickland Farm has an ABC Permit to sell beer. Wine can be provided by the host for their guest. Liquor will require a Limited Special Occasion Permit that must be obtained by the host from the NC ABC Commission. There will be no exceptions. •A picture ID will be required to consume beer or wine. Underage drinking will not be tolerated. •All drivers leaving The Strickland Farm must be alcohol free. •Speed limit while on The Strickland Farm is 15 mph. •Firearms are not allowed. •Fireworks are not allowed. •Disruptive and/or offensive behavior is not allowed. •Nothing may be thrown after Wedding Ceremonies, without consent of The Strickland Farm, including but not limited to rice, birdseed, confetti, etc. with the exception of flower petals, bubbles and/or other biodegradable products. •PAYMENT: A $300.00 non refundable deposit is required to reserve the date and should be returned with the signed and dated contract. 50% of the balance of the total contracted amount is due 30 days after contract is signed. The final balance is due no less than 30 days prior to the event. Any changes made after the contract shall be due upon request. •CANCELLATION: If there is a cancellation, there are no refunds on the prepaid amounts of your package. Please visit www.wedsafe.com to purchase optional cancellation insurance. •WEATHER: In the event The Strickland Farm cannot be available for your event due to inclement weather such as ice, snow, hurricanes or other such Acts of God, we will work with you to reschedule the event for the next available day and time. The management of The Strickland Farm reserves the right to decide if the scheduled event will be cancelled due to weather conditions. Your event must be rescheduled no less than 48 hours in advance of the start of your event. The Strickland Farm will not be responsible for the cost of any perishable food or other vendor fees. • LIABILITY: In the event the facility is not available to the renter (Client) on the date and time agreed upon, being of no control of The Strickland Farm (i.e. catastrophe) the liability of The Strickland Farm shall be expressly limited to the amount of all fees paid in advance. The Strickland farm shall assume no responsibility for any other damages or loss, direct, incidental or consequential and be held harmless in regard to any liability claim.
