The Strickland Farm
facilities consists of a large sheltered pavilion,
decorative arbor, game room, dressing areas,
bathrooms and swimming pool.
The 4,800 square foot pavilion located near the
beautiful courtyard could easily
seat 100 people, or double as a dance floor with an
area for a band or DJ. The pavilion also includes
a large stone fireplace, ceiling fans, decorative
lighting, and an outside kitchen area. The kitchen
features a fireplace, two large pig cookers, a
grill, a bar with granite tops, sink and
refrigerator space.
Adjacent to the courtyard is a 2,000 square foot building both men and women
will come to love. The game room contains a pool
table, foosball table, large poker table and a
ping pong table. Off the game room are two dressing
areas, a his and hers. Both dressing areas contain
two bathroom stalls, a shower and two sinks with
large counters and mirrors. Brides may want to
choose this area as their dressing room to keep the
groomsmen away from the games. Not to worry, there
is another dressing area across the courtyard for
groomsmen.
There is an L-shaped pool located next to
the main house that is fenced in and perfect for a
small party or rehearsal dinner. Off the pool,
within the main house is a large room that can
double as a dressing area or buffet room.
The land is complete with a softball field at the
back of the property, well lit parking for 400 or
more and a barn with live sheep. The sheep barn
is located on the property as you enter the
driveway. It adds to the rustic country atmosphere,
but is far enough from venue activities that it does
not cause any problems. The Strickland Farm does
not currently have an indoor reception area, though
they are hoping to start construction on one soon
that would seat 400 or more people and include a
kitchen for caterers. Many wedding or event venues
offer you a limited amount of choices, but The
Strickland Farm will cater to what the client wants.

clients convenience, however, if the client has
someone in mind, we will work with what the client
wants to create a customized event.
